The Sandy Springs Citizens Police Academy allows residents to participate in an up-close study of police operations in Sandy Springs. The 9-week course is designed to give participants the opportunity to get to know the people, understand the training, and offer insights and familiarity to the professionals who patrol the streets and protect us every day in Sandy Springs.
Classes are offered twice a year: in the spring and again, in the fall.
Class size is limited to 24 students per course.
