Mental Health & Substance Abuse Information and Resources

The Sandy Springs Police Department wants to provide mental health and substance abuse resources to those who may be struggling but are not sure where to turn. We know that these issues not only impact the individual but the family system as well. Officers are trained in de-escalating situations during a mental health crisis and render aid during a potential drug overdose. We feel that providing potentially life-saving resources to our citizens is an important part of serving our city.
