Internship Program

Since its inception in 2006, the Sandy Springs Police Department Internship Program has hosted more than a dozen college students providing 150 to 450 hour internships. Interns work alongside officers on patrol, criminal investigations, street crimes, vice, and narcotics units. These internships offer broad exposure to the various aspects of law enforcement. Additionally, interns receive an introduction to simulated firearms training.
