The Sandy Springs Police Department makes every attempt of making reports easy and convenient. In addition to our online reporting system, you can also make a report over the phone. You can call our main headqurters number (770-551-6900) during normal business hours and tell the operator that you would like to talk to an officer to file a report over the phone. For after hours and on weekends, please follow the below steps to make a report over the phone:
- Dial 770-730-5600
- Tell the operator that you would like to file a police report over the phone
- The operator will ask you basic information such as your name, telephone number, address of incident, and type of incident
- An Officer working that shift will contact you to file the report
As simple as that!
To make an accident report where there are no injuries and the damage is minimal or if the crash took place on private property, you can download a self-reporting form called SR-13. Once you fill out this form, you can provide it to your insurance company. For more information on accident reports, please visit our Vehicle Accident page
