Following Georgia Governor Kemp’s declaration of a health care emergency and to continue efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), effective immediately, The Sandy Spring Police Department will close its headquarters to the general public until further notice. Sandy Spring Police will continue to respond to all emergencies. If you need to file a non-emergency police report, please contact our communications center at 404-843-6670 and an officer will contact you. If you have an emergency, please dial 911.
Services that will be affected due to this closure include criminal histories, background checks, and all other permit related applications. Additionally, Sandy Springs officials are closing all city facilities, including city hall and municipal court, to the public until further notice. Individuals are encouraged to use the City’s online channels and Call Center (770-730-5600) for assistance in doing city business.
